Mortality in the UK (January 2019)
In the United Kingdom, there has been a long-term downward trend in both the number of deaths and the crude death rate. However, since 2011, both the number of deaths and the crude death rate have increased.

A new session has been completed and can be accessed on e-ELCA: 5.24 – Culturally sensitive palliative and end of life care for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.

Workshops: NMC standards for education and training (February 2019 onwards)
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is introducing new standards for education and training. This sets out the skills and knowledge that the next generation of nurses will need to deliver safe care.
